Melissa Moi

Asia Pacific Head of Environmental, Social and Governance, Bank of America Merrill Lynch

Melissa Moi leads Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) in 12 countries in Asia Pacific, including community investment, environmental sustainability and arts and culture programs. Melissa joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2012, and was responsible for the setup of the region’s philanthropy and volunteering program.

Since assuming the Asia Pacific Head role in 2015, she has been responsible for the implementation of an ESG strategy across the region. Bank of America Merrill Lynch was named Best ESG Bank in Asia in The Asset magazine’s Triple A Regional Awards 2016 and 2017. Prior to joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Melissa was the Executive Director of the Children’s Medical Foundation, an NGO improving healthcare for newborn babies in rural China. Melissa has a Masters degree in Applied Human Science from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Ottawa.

Melissa lives in Singapore with her husband and two young sons and serves on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Medical Foundation.
